Hi Indy! I've been reading a comic set in WW1 called Charley's War. In this comic, a german plane once bombarded enemy trenches with steel arrows. Also, an german platoon mounted machineguns on the backs of their strongest soldiers, using them as mobile tripods during their assault. That last one sounds particularly fictious, but the author claims both are based on real events. Could you tell us if there is any truth to them, please?Posted 1 year ago by Yote.
Hello Great War Team!, is there any way you could make a list of all the book about World War 1 such as fiction or memoirs not set in the western front such as Italian front, Eastern front, Macedonian front or even the CaucusesPosted 1 year ago by Jack Baribeau.
