How were people who lived in occupied territory treated? For example, the parts of Belgium and France that were under German control. Did the people flee? Were they used in labor to support the war industry? I lived in a small town in Lorraine, France and the town has a small monument for (I forget the exact number) 6 to 9 people who were lined up and shot by German soldiers during the war. Was this common? Love the show and keep up the great work!Posted 1 year ago by Anonymous.
