Out of the Trenches is our community format where your questions are being answered. Praise, criticism or a simple question about World War 1 – Indy will take some time to give you answers. The more questions you ask, the more episodes we can produce. Don't hesitate!
After the withdrawal of Russia from the war, why didn’t the Austro-Hungarian troops flood to the Western front to supplement the German Spring offensive? What were they otherwise doing? Certainly not crushing the Italians. It seems like a missed opportunity and isn’t something I’ve ever seen covered elsewhere.Posted 10 months ago by Anonymous.
Hey Indy and the gang! After watching (Almost) all your video's i got a few questions abouth the war. 1: what happend in the countrys that where occupied? How whas there daily lives and what where the laws? 2: a while ago i read somewhere that russians accepted woman in to the army, what whas the reaction of the allied forces? 3: after reading abouth the 322 km fence (Grenzhochspannungshindernis) between belguim and the netherlands i read the where smugglers moving through the fence, but what did they smuggled? I hope you can answer some of my question and even now the great war is (spoiler!) ended Almost 100 years ago i want to thank you for all the work and maybe we see you in 21 years. Hi Indy and Crew! I love your show, and it's been great following you these past few years! I know it's still a ways off, but I was curious as to how much of the post armistice events you would be covering after November 11th, and I was also wondering if you have any good recommendations for resources about the Paris Peace Conference in particular? Thank you again for all your hard work, this show is amazing!Posted 10 months ago by Universally Idiotic.
