While I was reading Poilu (by louis Barthas) Barthas talks about Russian baths in France and seeing Russian troops in the Champagne area of France. how many troops did the Russian Government send to France? And what other kind of aid did Russia send to France . Did France send aid to Russia? Thx for the amazing show, keep up the good work. Give flo and the rest of the crew a raise. Hi Indy, I'm completely captivated by the show you and your team produce. A brilliant week-by-week look at the tragedy of such a modern conflict. Was wondering if you ever explored the "fudging" of the numbers as to respective armies' actual artillery and munitions? For example, read on paper the French boasted an enormous number of field pieces, but in reality was heavily exaggerated. Again, thanks for an amazing channel.
