Hi Indy and crew. With the USA only having recently entered the war, and starting to massively expand it's army personnel, what measures were taken to ensure that the frontline officer cadre (captains, lieutentants etc.) where suitably experienced before hitting the front lines, i.e. were people sent to French and British units as observers or on secondment, before hundreds of thousands more men took a deep dive into modern war. P.s. keep up the great work.
