Out of the Trenches is our community format where your questions are being answered. Praise, criticism or a simple question about World War 1 – Indy will take some time to give you answers. The more questions you ask, the more episodes we can produce. Don't hesitate!
Love the work you guys are doing. I have read that Ignacy Paderewski met with President Wilson and convinced him to include Polish Independence in the 14 Points. Some accounts claim that in exchange, Paderewski helped deliver the Polish vote in the 1918 election. Do you have any information on this? Have you done, or are you planning to do, a special episode on Paderewski and his role in securing independence for a post-WWI Poland.Posted 5 months ago by Rob Zrabkowski.
Prince Ruprecht of Bavaria was an interesting guy. A good general who resisted the Nazis when they came to power. Have you done anything about him on your shows? Thank you for your excellent show. I am a huge admirer of Flo.Posted 5 months ago by Nancy Bergman.
While visitors in Kaiserslautern I saw a monument to the 23rd Bavarian. I did some research and found it was under the command of Prince Ruprecht, a very capable and admirable general. Have you ever done anything about him on your series? After the war he refused to have anything to do with the Nazis.Posted 5 months ago by Anonymous.
Hi Indy and crew! Thanx for the awesome show! I recently heard a side-remark in a psychosomatic-seminar, how TGW influenced Sigmund Freud, the founder of psychoanalysis, and therefore how it influenced the psychoanylysis. Can you tell us more about that? And while we're at it:Were early psychologic theories applied to get advantages in the war?Posted 5 months ago by Nikos Neosvoskos.
