Out of the Trenches is our community format where your questions are being answered. Praise, criticism or a simple question about World War 1 – Indy will take some time to give you answers. The more questions you ask, the more episodes we can produce. Don't hesitate!
Love the show. I would love to help if possible. My question relates to the Easter Rising of 1916. Were there any other major rebellions or revolts during the war? I've heard vaguely of a few in the British Empire but never seen any substantial literature on them. Cheers!Posted 3 months ago by Anonymous.
Merry Christmas from Afghanistan Indy and friends. Being a temporary resident of central Asia, I want to ask how Afghanistan and what was then Persia fit into the strategic and political map at the time?Posted 3 months ago by Anonymous.
Hi Indy! It struck me recently that I've never read anything about what use the Austro-Hungarian or Italian navies were during war. Did they do anything, or were they simply cooped up in their ports? Why didn't, for example, the Austro-Hungarian use naval bombardments on the Italian mainland?Posted 5 months ago by Yote.
