Hello Indy and the team! I have a question about the relations of the Imperial Russia and Empire of Japan during the WW1. I know that they were allies, and that Japan supplied Russia with ships captured in 1904-1905 war and large number of rifles and some older artillery pieces. Were there any territorial changes in Far East between the two former combatants? Thank you all for your hard work. Jani from Finland

Russia and Japan fought a war less then ten year before the Great War. I have been reading about the Finnish civil war, and I noticed that a large number (34-36t. in my sources) Japanese rifles were captured by the White forces from Russian garrison around Finland. I got me wondering, what kind of relation these two had when they were allies.
